I am extremely happy to be a finalist in the 30th Gold Coast International Ceramic Art Award. The inaugural Gold Coast Ceramic Art Award, which was held in 1982, was developed to encourage the creation and appreciation of art in clay. It is now a biennial award that attracts a diverse range of high-quality entries, allowing audiences to become acquainted with contemporary ceramic art practices from around the world.
All finalist’s work for the 30th GCICAA will be on exhibition at Gallery 1 at the Gold Coast City Gallery, Surfers Paradise, Australia between 27 August – 23 October 2016.
Ghost Boxes is my first solo exhibition and will feature a selection of intricate, three-dimensional paintings from my most recent series.
The works will be displayed in numerous showcases in the entrance area of the City Library, 253 Flinders Lane, Melbourne, located in the CAE building near the corner of Degraves Street and Flinders Lane between 2– 30 July 2015.
